Personal training in Hamilton, Ontario.
One-on-one sessions in Hamilton and across southern Ontario. In a gym, in your garage, or down at the park. Somewhere else? Ask anyway.
I film my workouts all over Hamilton. Leg day in a weighted vest at Bayfront Park. Kettlebell work in my garage. Pull days at the gym. Now I can bring that to you, and watch every rep in person.
What a session looks like
We start with a long warm up. I would rather warm up too long than sit out an injury.
Then the compound moves, then the isolated work, then a finisher to cap it off. I watch every rep. Go until form breaks. When it does, we scale it back and go again.
Before you leave, you know what to do on the days I am not there.
Where we can train
Your gym
Meet me there, if your gym allows outside trainers. We use whatever is on the floor.
Your home or garage
Don't need much room, just enough weight. One kettlebell and some floor will do.
Outside
Parks, the waterfront, a set of stairs. Find a rock and use it. Watch out for bird poo.
Who it is for
Beginners who want someone next to them for the first few sessions. Lifters who want a second set of eyes on their form. Anyone training around an old injury.
I train around a lower back injury myself. So I know how to work hard without wrecking you.
Questions
- Where do you train people?
- Hamilton and across southern Ontario. Other places on request. Put your city in the form and I will tell you if I can get there.
- Do I need a gym membership?
- No. We can train at your home, in a garage, or outside. If you have a gym, we can use that too, as long as it allows outside trainers.
- How much does it cost?
- It depends on where we train and how often. Send me a message and I will give you a price.
- Can I mix in-person and online?
- Yes. A good way to start is a few sessions in person to lock in your form, then online coaching with a weekly video reply.
- I have an old injury. Is that a problem?
- No. I train around a lower back injury myself. Tell me what hurts and when, and we build the session around it.
- Should I see a doctor first?
- Yes. Check with your doctor before you start a new training program, to make sure you are healthy enough to begin.
